Born and raised in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Kennedy’s childhood was filled with sports and a focus on natural health. Her parents instilled in her the values of eating whole foods and getting outside to play sports, including skiing and snowboarding.
Since her hometown of Rocky was quite small, and snow-sport programs were inaccessible, Kennedy focused her attention on basketball and volleyball primarily. However, she still played every sport from hockey and gymnastics to baseball, swimming, and track & field in her yard with her younger and older brothers.
Kennedy focused her younger years on accessible sports and moved to Kelowna at age 18 to be closer to the mountains. At age 21, Kennedy acted on a lifelong desire to compete in elite level snowboarding with no prior training or experience. Now that Kennedy is fully immersed in elite level competitions, her health is more important than ever, and she is proud to rely on CanPrev products to keep her body in optimal condition during rigorous training and international competitions.
